Alexis Kubana was born in Rwanda and grew up in DRC and Uganda. Prior to resettling to the US in 2017 with the assistance of the International Institute of New England with his younger brothers, Alexis founded an organization in Uganda named “Tomorrow’s Youth” that provides English instruction and other skills training to displaced refugees.
