About the Speaker:
Rehema Rwakabuba and her family resettled to Lowell, MA as refugees in 2011 with the assistance of the International Institute of New England. In 2017, she became a U.S. citizen. She is a student at Fitchburg State University, and works as a healthcare aide. Recently, Rehema served as an intern with IINE in Lowell, working directly with recently arrived refugee women in their cultural orientation classes.
