About the Speaker:
Szifra Birke grew up in Lowell, MA deeply affected and inspired by her immigrant parents’ Holocaust experiences and their indomitable tenacity. Szifra can best be understood via Browsing Through Birkes, a documentary she co-produced about growing up in her family’s quirky retail clothing store with her irascible, opinionated father, well-liked mother, and their sometimes mistreated but loyal customers. Today Szifra is an Executive Leadership Coach, Financial Behavior Specialist, and ally of immigrants.
